Mini Maton EMD6 Diesel Special - LH

Mine Mine Mine!

Unsure whether you want to work with me on your next song ? That’s okay, we don’t know each other.

These folks do. Maybe you can consider what they have to say?

I have a lot of respect for Christine and her art form. She’s an interesting songwriter. She’s able to capture something very unique and personal, which I’m drawn to as a songwriter and perform myself. I have cherished our time writing together.

On Fireflies:

“Christine showed me some lyrics she was working on and I immediately gravitated towards them. She is extremely talented and I understood where she was coming from with the lyrics of this song”, says Andy. “Fireflies is a song written about the end of a relationship, reflecting on what you did wrong and how sometimes sorry isn’t enough. For me, it’s wishing that you could change the bad stuff you did and hoping that something magically could take you back and fix the relationship that you screwed up”.

I met Christine Kerr at a songwriting retreat and developed a relationship after that because of our immediate ability to understand each other. It feels like sometimes when I give Christine an idea that she is already on a page where I was about to start. I have co written a chart listing song with Christine that is till getting airplay every week in Australia. I would recommend Christine for anyone that wants to give their song an edge with precise and relevant lyrics.

Christine (as a songwriter) is pushy, inconsiderate and will not listen. She falls for the opportunity of bragging anytime it rises. I’M KIDDING …..

Writing with Christine opens opportunities to wander through the song as it evolved. Prolific with ideas and avenues, her mind helps explore conversations that you couldn't imagine having outloud. With an dedication to the song, Christine is great company to work with !!

Christine is a committed songwriter who takes initiative to achieve the goals that she wants to achieve.  She has also proven herself time and again, to have what it takes as a songwriter as evidenced by the songs she has written individually and together with myself and others.  She is a songwriter full of enthusiasm, bubbling with ideas and ever ready to switch on to finding expression through her lyrics.

Christine has a unique way of looking at the world and an innate ability to capture the essence of what she sees in the lyrics she pens for the artists she works with. I love working with Christine. She opens up my eyes to see the world from her angle, her perspective. She is a giving songwriter and lyricist who is happy to share ideas and work with you to make the song truly sing.

Bray Jeffrey - Award winning New Zealand Singer/Songwriter (NZ Gold Guitar) – Auckland https://www.instagram.com/songswithbray/

Christine’s songwriting strength is her exceptional lyricism. She helped me edit and rewrite one of my own songs and in the process showcased her firm understanding of the craft. She shifted and deleted unnecessary words, refined the central metaphor, and asked me the right questions to make a stronger narrative. Christine has a wealth of life-experience and a honed song craft lens with which to view it. Her stories are unique and vital, and I strongly recommend working with her.

Christine is a multi-genre songwriter, covering country to pop to novelty/comedy.  I have watched her grow as a songwriter and been impressed with her determination to blast through perceived barriers and work toward building a lasting and successful career.

Kerrie Garside - Award winning ASA Regional Co-ordinator (Retired) – NSW / QLD

Since meeting Christine quite a few years ago, I’ve watched her develop into an accomplished (award-winning) songwriter.  Christine is continuously working her skills by attending conferences and workshops, online songwriting challenges and regular co-writing sessions (including with me!). Her deafness hasn’t stopped her from conquering her fears from stepping onto the stage to perform her songs.  Her strength is lyrics but she also has a strong sense of rhythm, being able to convey her musical ideas too
