christine m kerr - songwriter
Member of the Australian Songwriting Association (ASA) and APRA /AMCOS
I'm a profoundly deaf songwriter based in the NSW Central Coast of Australia since 2008.
I write all kinds of songs and am of the belief that a well written lyric can fit any genre.
I regularly take part in online songwriting challenges, such as FAWM, 50/90, The Songwrite Inn and "5 in 5 Songwriting Challenge"
Like anything, you can only get better with practice and these challenges certainly help produce the numbers.
By writing often and regularly I've learnt how to write under pressure, build my songwriting muscles and put the inner critic away.
In 2019, I signed up to I Heart Songwriting Club. I’m being stretched out of my comfort zone. - I hate it as much as I love it
